Founded in 2009 in Tamesloht – a small village in south Marrakech – by Abdessadek Ezzeki, Art Tissage Tam is a cooperative specializing in traditional weaving and embroidery. Aiming to save and perpetuate these traditional crafts, the cooperative trains new weavers and embroiderers and creates collections of home linen combining traditional techniques and modern designs.
All products are made of first quality natural fibers by women and men practicing their craft since their youngest age. Some of them come from the Orphean of Tamesloht and get an opportunity to learn a job and become independent.
